I don't usually listen to this kind of music, but this is great! I really like the spooky atmosphere and all the little tingles and stuff like that. But there still are some things that I would like to point out that could be fixed. Here's the list of them :
1. The intro and outro could be shorter.
2. The impacts at 0:51, 2:08, 2:20, 3:37, 4:03 and at the start of the build-ups are quite a bit too loud. Also, the impact at 2:20 isn't necessary
3. The build-ups are not really necessary/are too intense, either that or the drops are 'too weak'.
4. The transitions between 'drops' and post-drops/verses aren't very clear. I'd suggest putting a riser on the second part of every drop.

Anyway, that's all the critique I have. Apart from all the things I said, this track is great! In my opinion, It's the best out of all the tracks in "Metallurgy EP", so... ye. Before the end of this comment, I would like to ask something: could I maybe remix this track?
Anyway, that's it from me, cheers!

Vortonox responds:

You can remix it :)
Anyways, thanks :3

The melody is pretty nice, but the 808's and stuff at the drop are garbage. I'm not sure how this is Trap, because you used Dubstep drums instead of Trap drums. You really should download more of the free Cymatics sample packs. Also, don't make the 808 samples yourself, Cymatics has some good 808's samples, so you should instead use those. Even the professionals don't do make 808 samples (i think). Also, what's up with the 2nd drop? It just has the crappy 808 and some shouts. Please, if you do Trap music again, do not EVER do that. The shouts are a good add-on, but not a good 'instrument'.
Anyway, before ending this, i have a suggestion : try making different genres of music. I mean, yeah, Dubstep is great, but if you want to improve you have to experiment. Now, I'm not saying that you have to abandon Dubstep completely, I'm just saying that, maybe once every 2-4 songs you should try making something else than just Dubstep.
Anyway, this is all I have to say. Cheers!

AlienNinjaGD responds:

I have some trap samples actually, but I don't really like trap drums, so I used some dubstep kicks and claps. The 808 was made by me and I don't think it's too bad, but yeah, the main drop bass is dumb. But I think for a first trap song it's pretty... bad.

Now this is definitely a step-up in quality of your songs! The intro is pretty nice, the drop bass is high quality, there's quite a bit of detail put into this track. But I think the track could really use some instrumental variety. Maybe a few more basses at the drops too. Other than that, the track is quite good!

AlienNinjaGD responds:

Thanks man!

Wow, the first drop was so disappointing. Although I liked the 2nd drop!

AlienNinjaGD responds:

Thx!

So glitchy!

DJ-LuigiSound2 responds:

Thanks bro ;)

Now, this... this is definitely one of your best songs you have made so far! I especially really like the second drop, that shit's fire! But I still have some other things to say:
1. The arp that appears at the beginning doesn't fit with the rest of the track. I'd recommend just replace it with something
2. The first drop doesn't feel as impactful as the 2nd one. Mainly because the drums are by far slower than in the 2nd drop. I'm Not really sure how to fix that...
3. The build-up is... How do I put this... Too 'soft'. You need to make it more powerful.
And
4. The drop is louder than the rest of the track. Just turn the volume up a bit.

Other than that, the track is quite good! Keep up the good work! Cheers ;)

AlienNinjaGD responds:

Thx! So, I know the drops are louder, I added too much distorsion. I know the build-up is soft, the melody sound design wasný my best, I worked on the drops mostly. And the first drop is dubstep/drumstep rock typed, that's why it's slower, and the second one is hardcore/hardstyle tock typed.

Congrats on 300k subs! This track definitely feels special, so good job on that!
Btw, I'm getting Alan Walker vibes from this track... I like it!

DJVI responds:

Thats really nice to hear, thanks!

Ok... here we go.

So the track opens up with some generic drums. That itself is not a problem, since it's quite hard to make original drums for this genre. What IS a problem, is that you didn't use good samples. So I would suggest searching for more drum samples, that would actually sound good. A thing I would recommend you doing is placing, let's say, kick samples on top of one another (so that they would play the same rhythm). Do that with all drums, in my opinion that is a very good technique when you want to get a sound you're looking for from the drums. Just don't forget good samples. Okay, Let's move on.

After that part there is a piano, but before it there were like some hihats, idk, and they just ended when the piano played it's first notes. What I would do is replace them with some claps and continue playing them afterwards, replacing that piano with some supersaws, completely changing the chords, because they sound awful and making that part into a Big Room (more like Big BOOM) build-up, because that is what Big Room House is all about - BIG, FAT AND THICC BUILD-UPS. Let's keep going.

Then there's the drop(which I can only guess it was a drop, because there are absolutely NO MOTHER#?@*ING BUILD-UPS) . Oh boy is it bad. Yeah, you should really listen to some actual Big Room songs, because this is not what this genre sounds like. Basically make a drop from scratch(intro and outro should be influenced by doing so). I know it says "Big Room/Electro House", but the first drop should really be a Big Room House type of drop. After the drop there are some saws. They sound weird. So weird in fact, that when I remember the track they sound like they're melody has got nothing in common with the one that the piano's playing, although they really are playing the same melody/chords(not really sure xD). I'm not too sure why, but you should still fix it
. Also you should, like, totally replace those saws with some SuPeRsAwS maybe.

Now I want to adress that the mix is quite weird. Here's what I heard :
1. Intro
2. Verse
3. Drop (NO F*%#ING BUILD-UP BEFORE IT)
4. Post-Drop
5. 2nd drop (again, NO BUILD-UP)
6. 3rd drop (wtf man)
7. Post-Drop 2
8. Outro

So this what I would suggest :
1. Make a build-up(already said how I would make it).
2. Delete the second drop.
3. After the Post-Drop make a 2nd build-up that would be longer by like 4 or 8 bars(up to you).
4. After the 2nd build-up put the now 2nd drop (it was the 3rd drop before).
5. Make the 2nd drop have some elements from the 1st drop, so that it wouldn't sound random.
6. Add some subbass to BASSically (hehe) everything.
7. Delete the 2nd Post-Drop and instead play the outro.

Even though in my opinion this track really doesn't deserve a rating of 4, i still liked some of your decisions, like the filtered saw playing in some times on the 2nd drop or the 3rd drop. I know that for you it feels like you have spent a lot of time on this track, but I don't think It was enough. For me, 10 hours is normal to spend on a single track (I probably spend even more since I have so much free time, now that I think about it xd). I don't think you improved that much, but at least you didn't use any of those ear piercing saws...

Now that I think of what I just wrote, this was completely pointless, because this just a tutorial how to make a track in Big Room genre. Or basically how to make a completely new track. Wow, I'm so stupid. Well, I'm posting this anyway, so that this wouldn't go to waste xd. I still hope this helps in the future.

Edit: thanks for clearing up on that build-up situation(now that I understand why there were no build-ups, it seemes like it was really an interesting song :) ). Also I already knew that there were different genre drops, I just forgot to mention that. Oh, and btw, this the first time I am writing this long of a reply, so ur welcome!

AlienNinjaGD responds:

OMG man this is really long, thank you!
Thanks for the advices, but just to tell you, the drops are two - Big Room (not exactly) and Electro House drop.
Yeah, this thing hasn't got build-ups because this one has to be more weird and funky.
Thanks again!

This song is soo good! I freaking love the bass(at 1:08) and the little details in this track! Also 1:50 was epic! Over all a great track, good job m8!
